About the Role
As a Marketing Manager, Partnerships at Thumbtack, you will play a crucial role in integrating our services into the daily lives of homeowners and professionals. We are seeking an experienced marketer who excels in launching and scaling partnerships and programs, while developing a deep understanding of our customer base to drive growth in our partnership vertical. You will collaborate closely with our Business Development and Commercial Programs teams to secure and enhance new partnerships and pilot innovative programs. The ideal candidate is a marketing enthusiast, a master collaborator, and possesses experience across various functions, as this role encompasses partner and product marketing, partner management, and marketing liaison responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing, business development, product, communications, and enablement teams to support new ventures and demand API partnership roadmaps.
- Lead workstreams and go-to-market activities with a focus on partner marketing and enablement.
- Project manage marketing requests and briefs, ensuring timely delivery and implementation of marketing and media assets for various initiatives.
- Work with management to identify new growth opportunities within the partnership landscape and enhance brand messaging in partner communications.
- Ensure proper tracking, reporting, and attribution mechanisms are in place to measure impact at every stage of the funnel.
- Own the reporting and communication of progress toward performance targets.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of partner marketing experience, including expertise in partner management, growth, and product marketing.
- Proven ability to build relationships across functions, levels, and organizations, effectively managing the priorities of multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in project and partner management, including launching go-to-market initiatives.
- Data-driven mindset with a strong understanding of business drivers and the ability to leverage analytics to identify new opportunities and optimizations.
- Track record of innovative partner marketing campaigns that leverage unique opportunities between partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in pitching new ideas.
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency for achieving team objectives, thriving in ambiguous situations.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in a marketplace company or high-growth startup.
- Familiarity with partner marketing, product marketing, and new channel testing.
- Strong understanding of partner marketing measurement methodologies and experience analyzing data trends using tools like LOOKER and Google Sheets.
- Experience in the home-related industry.
Compensation
For candidates living in San Francisco/Bay Area, San Jose, New York City, or Seattle metros, the expected salary range is $130,500 - $159,500. For candidates in Austin, TX or Washington DC metros, or in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Washington states, the expected salary range is $117,900 - $144,100. For candidates in all other US locations, the expected salary range is $110,700 - $135,300. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as calibrated job level, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
